Aroma; roasted malts, whisky, wood, dark fruits, teak, nuts, barbecue n chocolate notes. Very good scents. Look; invisible head, close to black body. Taste; roasted malts, dark fruits, hops, black syrup, whisky or sherry, oak, coffee note, prune - sweet very good finish. Feel; solid body, soft co2, very good. Overall; very nice sipper indeed. 500ml bottle, 8.9 % abv, kindly shared by djoeye. Naked at the top. Dotted spots on the glass, Almost black in body appearance. Dark bread on the nose, hints of dark fruits. Rather rich flavour character with impact of dark fruits, prunes, coffee, ash, and bread, sherry impression. Sweet malt-fruity ending with warmth from the alcohol. Medium bodied and smooth on the swallow. Nice, just a tad too sweet in the long run. (Tromsø 22.07.207).

anstei (2511) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - JAN 23, 2017
Bottle, courtesy of EuroSanta Cuso. Pours dark brown with a soft smooth foam. Aroma is light chocolate and coffee, quite roasty, but still as gentle as the foam promises. Medium body with a moderate sweetness and a soft texture. Very round and balanced. Palate continues like that. Some hints of the actual strength are there, but most of the ABV is well hidden. Great experience.

kamanova_boy (365) - SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JAN 11, 2017
Draft at Žil Verne. Light brown, coffee like head, dark black, slightly red colour. Not very distinguishable aroma. Taste of coffee, almonds, unfortunately, too strong on alcohol taste. Nevertheless good bock, some surprises in the finish.

Bottle, thanks cuso, big frothy bubbly head, dark brown color with just a little reddish hues, earthy, coffee aroma with some dark bread, aroma of chocolate with some cola, hay and graininess, quite strong sourness, very light bitterness, light bodied. A bit old and not too exciting.

Vychladená fľaša, veľmi tmavá hnedo-čierna farba, nádherná karamelová pena, vôňa ovocno-kávová. Chuť kávová, čakal som alkohol, ale pije sa príjemne.

Bottle at home from European secret Santa, cheers!
haY dark brown with lacing dark tan head, fruity with acetic fruity balsamic vinegar note. Full bodied, slick, light carbonation, fruity, definite balsamic vinegar notes, brown sauce, tartness not unpleasant but out of place. Would like to try a fresh bottle

pivnizub (10768) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - APR 20, 2014
Bottle (Diky, Cuso!): Very deep amber coloured with ruby spots, smaller stable creamy off-white head; sweet-bitter nose of toasted malt, nuts, milk-chocolate and caramel, shy hops in the Background; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, smooth MF; lingering bitter and sweet finish, presenting the same flavours as the nose. Well crafted stuff, easy drinkable...
