On tap at the brewery. A deep red color. Noticeable sweetness that is balanced, but this could use some more hoppy bitterness. mcox90 (2088) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 14, 2014
On tap at the source. Pours a hazy reddish amber with a 1/2" off white head. Nice sweet biscuit malt aroma. Flavor is almost all sweet malt with a hint of hops. Full bodied and smooth. Went well with the Cottage Pie I had to eat. Nothing outstanding here, but a nice sweet ale. puboflyons (3432) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 28, 2012
From a growler. It pours a bronze amber with a moderate head. The aroma is quite vibrant with a lot of berries, sweet malts, and even a touch of licorice. The body is around medium. The taste has a sweet malty, berry character but after a few sips the moderate bitter hop character kicks in. I liked it.
