Black color, brown head. Malty, sweet, buttery scent. Roasted, malty taste. Roasted aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Ash, burnt toast, coffee coming through as well.
Strong coffee notes punctuate this beers flavor and aroma. It has a creaminess to it and a beautiful rich black color. mjg74 (3204) - La Mesa, California, USA - FEB 3, 2015
Bomber from Roth’s. Black in color with dirty brownish head. Nose is dominated by sweet roasted maltiness. Roasty up front with some burnt roasted coffee. Finish is very roasted and burnt. Very solid, drinkable porter. Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 2, 2015
Beautifully nuttiness is what carries this one throughout .With a well-crafted mix of roast and bitterness which, paired with a mid-range carbonation cuts through the deliciously creamy body.

The best beer on tap at seven brides. After being majorly disappointed by their Oatmeal ellie, it was nice to have this porter. This has all the right aromas of coffee, chocolate, etc.. and the taste as well. Very nice Porter Arayaga2 (2224) - portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 28, 2014
Brown black with a rocky caramel colored head. Aroma is sweet with burnt cola notes, and taste is the same, though less sweet, with coffee and cocoa. $3 pint can maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - FEB 5, 2014
Draught in a flight. Pours a near black color with a moderate tan head on it. I got a very quick hint of sweetness up front on the nose that quickly went into some strong roasting notes. At the end, I got some faint bitter elements that reminded me of a Baltic porter, though they were subtle. Taste was quite bitter to me and very dry. Smooth and pleasant. Draft at the Tugboat Brewing Co. in Portland, OR on 27 May 2013. Poured a very dark brown with a thin, but dense tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, some fruity hops and oak. Dark malt, black cherries and some bourbon-esque sweetness in the initial flavour. Finish was coffee, roasted malt and molasses.
