Bomber from Roth’s. Deep copper in color upon pouring. Nose is a little bready with some sweet fruitiness. Strong grapefruit peel throughout. A little breadiness as well. Somewhat one dimensional. Strong grapefruit peel finish.

Interesting IPA malty flavor up front with a great hop finish. The smell is deceiving to the flavor. Good beer!

I can see why the ratings on this are all over the place. For hop heads, probably a delight. Unassuming aroma, with full on bitterness in the taste, some metallic, some soapy funk. One saving grace is a beautiful pour with nice thick head and lacing.

Salmoniform (1272) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - OCT 14, 2014
Poured from tallboy to glass. Copper hue with creamy tan head that lingered. Suspended particles. Aroma is caramel, pine, yeast, citrus oil, grassy. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and crisp carbonation. Taste is sweet followed by a nice hop bitterness that extends through the finish. Oxidation in the finish. Overall this is a decent beer, but is overly yeasty and oxidized. I’m not sure how old the can is (due to a lack of date), so it may be issues with age/handling rather than the brewing.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2014 On tap. A: Clear amber with a lingering white head. N: Pine, biscuit, leafy, cracker, some caramel. T: Hopped to hell. Huge early level boil. Slight malt. More bitterness. M: Medium body. A touch oily. O: Not a good IPA. Too many hops in the middle, not enough on the nose.

Slight fruity nose, not much sweetness of malt. Color is very dark amber almost brown Taste is super bitter, not much distinction in hop flavor just bitter, little malt flavor to balance this hop beast. Bitter lingers on the back of tongue for atleast a couple mins.

On tap. Smells like a basic iPA. Tastes basic as well. This isn’t bad, but it’s easy to move on from this one.

This beer is in "high" demand for a reason! This is a great beer that doesn't blow your mind with the hops or IBU's! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle, pours orange red yellow, no head or lacing. no hop nose, smells like a weak malt. attack is thin, not a lot of flavor, finish is very bitter, actually pretty good, dry and clean. too bad the rest of the drinking experience is lame.

bhensonb (15207) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 24, 2013
Tap at OBF. Pours amber brown with a slight beige head. Aroma is rather floral/citrus. Med body. Flavor is a bit roastier malt than expected, but there’s a lot of citrus and perhaps earthy hop. Hop burn! Finishes almost not dry and quite hoppy/bitter. Good.
