Bottle:   Hazy straw, a bit dirty, strong carbonation, huge fluffy white head, spotty lacing.   Bit of an astringent straw/hay on the nose.   Straw and hay to start, long grass, a touch of sweetness to make it interesting.   A bit overcarbonated tho, BURP!   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Not crisp but also not dull.   Seems middle of the road.   Just a smidge of ash or dust in the background.   Meh... decent. bpreo (2854) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - NOV 8, 2014
Clear, with very little flavor. Low alcohol percentage, which is actually welcomed at this point. Sarlacc83 (2287) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 29, 2014
UPDATED: AUG 30, 2014 On tap.
A: Pale straw color with a thin white head. N: Intense grains, biscuit, and leafy hop. T: Light sweetness, very light bitterness. M: Light body, lighter level of carb.. O: Decent kolsch. Easy drinking and clean, but uninteresting.

22 oz bottle from Fred Meyer in S.Salem
this is 4.1% on the label
Clear corn oil yellow colour with a nice thick and creamy white head.
Fresh aromas. Slightly earthy, a little toasty malt. and a bit nutty nice.
Taste is rather too balanced and bland. Its not bad. But as others have said there is a bitterness that seems to belie its 20 ibus..Getting a touch of honey too.
The palate is fine the mouth feel is medium carbonation medium high.
Not a bad low alc drink for the summer but IMO not a great kolsch. Reminds me a bit of all those honey lagers that used to be about 10 years ago.

Bottle from The Beer Mongers in Portland, OR. Pours light gold with a slight white head. Aroma made me think wet dog at first, but getting deep inhale brought breadiness and light citrus. Med body or nearly. Flavor is light citrus an moderate breadiness. Clearly a decent kolsch. Finishes hoppier and more bitter than the 20 IBU’s suggests.

Draught. Yellow pour with thin fast dissipating white head. Light malty aroma. Body is light, fairly sweet with a hop note to keep it from getting too sweet. Grassy finish stchloe (1104) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 11, 2012
Kolsch ain’t my thing but this was pretty decent nice sweet start followed by a slightly tart wheaty body. Fermented fruity notes dominate. Syzzer (647) - Oregon, USA - JUL 7, 2012
This beer was on tap at Seven Brides Brewing. Not their best beer. It is ok for a Kolsch. There is a tartness to the subtle wheat tones throughout. Light yellow with moderate carbonation.
