4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
One of my favorite Stouts since coming to the USA. Full flavored with a rich aroma. If you’re a fan of rich stout then this is well worth trying. I love how the flavor just hits your pallet, a real treat for stout lovers.
A: Black Body with a thin cappuccino head.
N: Coffee, lactose, and some cocoa.
T: Sweet and bitterness.
M: Creamy and mild mouthfeel.
O: Bland. Oatmeal ought to lend more flavor and smoothness. Ah well. Lizardking3 (192) - Springfield, Oregon, USA - JUN 14, 2014
Very boring for an oatmeal. No smell and very flat. Needs work on their recipe for stouts. Brentv (672) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 25, 2014
On tap. Black pour with tan head. Aroma of chocolate and roasted malts. A little burnt flavor, a little acidic. Medium mouthfeel and some oatmeal creaminess. DialSquare (5028) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 20, 2013
On tap at Veritable Quandary restaurant in Portland. Black pour (dark out, so hard to tell). Aroma is oats, coffee. Tastes are coffee, roasty, chocolate. Very slight sour milk vibe. Thin and drinkable. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - MAY 5, 2013

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours very dark brown with a tan head. Smooth burnt malt aroma with perhaps a touch of coffee. Near med body. Flavor is smooth dark malt, with something like coffee and perhaps a hint of chocolate. It is rather dry and lightly bitter. Coffee bitter. Just doesn’t seem like coffee for some reason. Probably just me. douglas88 (9178) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 22, 2013
Bomber. So this beer has consistent inconsistency it seems. Amazing that the problems continue. Pours out explosively, a massive head and mass of carbonation. Impossible to drink a glass without a lengthy wait. A nose of cocoa and some tart fruit. The flavor has some metal, tart cherry, roast, light milky chocolate tries to get through the infection. Not terrible, but terrible in the sense of what it should be. MikeJslc (778) - USA - APR 4, 2013
Dark brown, tan head. Aroma of grainy malt, cocoa, some oaty, nutty notes. Flavor is grainy malt with a little chocolate, some nutty notes, pretty thin-bodied, a little buttery note, finishes grainy and dry. stchloe (1067) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 11, 2012
Standard dark ale, dry throughout, oat nose, creamy body with dusty coffee notes.
