Draught at The Pint Room, Dublin Ohio US. Black with a beige head. Hoppy aroma with some mint. Same taste. Nog as black as I would have preferred. Ok beer, medium length.

Draft at Seventh Son. Pours a dark brown to black color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, some chocolate, resiny and citrus hops, moderate bitterness, decent though unspectacular black IPA.

Draft. Poured black color with an average frothy tan head that lasted and produced excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex toasted malt and hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy toasted bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.

Tap at brews, pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma is light pine hops, but thats about it, its weak. Taste is mildly roasty with a small pine hoppy bite that dies fast. This brew isnt bad, but in my opinion it needs improved.

Dogbrick (12912) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 1, 2013
Sample at Jackie Os as part of Ohio Brew Week. Brownish-black pour with a medium foamy khaki head that recedes steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of roast malt, hops and pine. The finish is moderately bitter with a resiny hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
