on tap-pours a white head and hazy pale straw color. Aroma is musty wheat, yeast, some sweet citrus and funky. Taste follows. OK carbonation. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - SEP 19, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2008 2005: Hazy and pale yellow frothy white head. Smooth texture with a nice carbonation level. Pleasant nips of lemon and bitter orange, and the perfect amount of background spices (such as the evident coriander, but also curious aromas of clove and orange peel). Sweetness and bitterness levels were very balanced and complementing. 2008: Foggy pale yellow thin head nice lace. Light body spritzy carbonation mostly refreshing, albeit a bit cloying in the finish. Cobwebby malts (bread dough, honey). Pleasant aromas (flowers, bananas, yeast esters). Light spices in the background (white pepper, coriander). OK beer, but far from pushing the envelope.
