COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This unfiltered Bernstein Weizen is brewed with 50% German wheat malt, and lots of dark specialty malts to lend this brew an amber hue and a slightly sweet malt profile. A slight touch of German Hallertauer hops are added for a light herbal and fruity aroma, and special hefeweizen yeast is pitched for classic banana and clove aromas.

Tap at the brewery. Pours an appealing murky orange- a bit deeper than your typical hefeweizen. The flavor was fairly mild- I didnt pick up strong wheat. There was a bit of yeast flavor. Pretty good overall.

rather reddish hefeweizen. nice flowery aroma. i found this the most interesting brew at the shanghai brewery. notes of lemon zest, bread and pleasant sweet aftertaste. the watery palate was a bit of a let down.

A bit more reddish than the typical hefeweizen. Bready and sweet, but not a spectacular hefeweizen. OKay.
