Light black with a tan head that thinned to a swirl atop and edgeing.

Medium bodied, carbonation is a little over cooked but not detracting too much from this beer, dry finish.

At Eucalyptus in Jerusalem. Pours a dark brown with a drop of white foam. Oatmeal comes through on the nose. Taste is oatmeal, black licorice. A bit weak on the finish, but good.

33 cl bottle. Fresh and "savory" aroma. Some chocolate and cinnamon with a touch of after shave. Nice. Fresh arrival with tones of chocolate and coffee. The taste then quickly turns quite sour and acidic. The mouth feel is very thin for this type of beer. It could definitely benefit from a higher ABV. Short finish that leaves a sour and slightly unpleasant flavor behind. Probably better with food than on its own. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 6, 2016
12 oz. bottle from DSG. Thanks Barak! It pours a very dark brown/black color with tan head that disappears quickly. The aroma is full with chocolate syrup and cocoa powder. Pretty sweet and simple. The flavor is on the sour side with some copper, roast and dirt. Astringent in the palate. Sour finish. Cousin_Larry (895) - - JAN 23, 2016
Pours flat with jet black coloring. Smell has some eggs and coffee. Flavor is very bitter seltzer. gregwilsonstl (2613) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 16, 2016
Really thin. No head. Flat. Not sure what to make of this. Not too good. Tasted at my variants themed tasting. Thx Jandd1983. Strykzone (7556) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JAN 16, 2016
Sampled at gregwilson’s tasting. Dark brown. No foam. Ok, this is odd. Earth and some kind of funkiness. Something like chocolate and syrup. Chicory. Yep, odd.
