Bottle at home, thanks to an IP trade with Tomer, 02/02/13. Light black with a tan head that thinned to a swirl atop and edgeing. Nose carries roast malts, oats a la chocolate in porridge, molasses, hint of coffee. Taste comprises roast malts, chocolate, molasses. Medium bodied, carbonation is a little over cooked but not detracting too much from this beer, dry finish. Solid enough stout !

Bottle. Very dark brown body, small light brown head. Aroma of toasted malts, red grapes, touch of citruses and apples. Taste is neutral, sourish finish. Toasted malts, fruits, especially grapes, hints of nuts and cinnamon.
Surprisingly fruity one.

Rotin (1679) - Neratovice, CZECH REPUBLIC - FEB 15, 2017
Bottle 0.33l. Cloudy, dark brown colored. AROMA- apple, roasted malts. FLAVOR- just slightly sour, lightly bitter, a bit harsh, apple, dark grapes, roasted malts. Medium bodied.
Not bad.

At Eucalyptus in Jerusalem. Pours a dark brown with a drop of white foam. Oatmeal comes through on the nose. Taste is oatmeal, black licorice. A bit weak on the finish, but good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl bottle. Fresh and "savory" aroma. Some chocolate and cinnamon with a touch of after shave. Nice. Fresh arrival with tones of chocolate and coffee. The taste then quickly turns quite sour and acidic. The mouth feel is very thin for this type of beer. It could definitely benefit from a higher ABV. Short finish that leaves a sour and slightly unpleasant flavor behind. Probably better with food than on its own.

12 oz. bottle from DSG. Thanks Barak! It pours a very dark brown/black color with tan head that disappears quickly. The aroma is full with chocolate syrup and cocoa powder. Pretty sweet and simple. The flavor is on the sour side with some copper, roast and dirt. Astringent in the palate. Sour finish.

Pours flat with jet black coloring. Smell has some eggs and coffee. Flavor is very bitter seltzer.

Really thin. No head. Flat. Not sure what to make of this. Not too good. Tasted at my variants themed tasting. Thx Jandd1983.

Strykzone (7556) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JAN 16, 2016
Sampled at gregwilson’s tasting. Dark brown. No foam. Ok, this is odd. Earth and some kind of funkiness. Something like chocolate and syrup. Chicory. Yep, odd.
