Can thanks to Woodchopper on BA! Dark black pour, 1/4 inch head and an aroma of light chocolate and a little vanilla. Flavor is roasty peat, chocolate, creamy vanilla and hints of coffee. Not sure I could do more than one of these in a night (since it's pretty rich), but certainly a solid beer.

On tap @ Side Project. Pour is opaque brown with a small khaki head. Notes of dark malt, cocoa, earth, and a bit of pine resin.

It pours deep brown with a tan head. The aroma has coffee, caramel, hazelnuts, smooth roast, chocolate and a bit of fudge. It has a medium rich body with mild carbonation. The taste has deep roast, dark fruit, chocolate cake and coffee. Delicious.

phaleslu (10748) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 1, 2017
750 ml bottle. Pours an opaque coffee brown, dark and deep, with a good finger of frothy tan head that takes a minute to settle, eventually into a ring and a bit of lace in the glass. They’re not wrong - loads of chocolate, milder roast, toast, earth, and a hint of dark fruit. And the palate is really smooth, velvety even, with great balance and moderate carbonation. Well executed porter.

b3shine (9208) - Indiana, USA - MAR 23, 2017
750 ml bottle to pint (shared with the Mrs.). Looks perfect for the style; a slightly translucent very dark cola with foamy darker beige head. Smells of dark malt, cocoa, hops, toast, and roast. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly bitter yet creamy medium full-bodied mouthfeel. A great porter.

Draft $6 (plus tip). Dark with a brown glistening head. Mild aroma like ground coffee. This is pretty tame for what is supposed to be a robust Porter. The body is medium and bitterness is fairly low enhancing pure drinkability. Not an overly notable beer that can best be described as weak coffee with a nutty presence.

Initial bottled batch, acquired from SP brewery. Black color with a frothy mocha brown head that leaves some thick lacing as it resides. Aroma is roast a light chocolate. Taste is cocoa powder, roast, light sweetness. Body is creamy and on the thicker side for a porter. Basic and balanced but well executed.
