Cask at Craft Beer Rising. It pours golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is citrus peel, orange, earth, farm yard and dough. The taste is hay, pithy citrus, herbal, dough and flour with a dry finish . Medium body and soft carbonation. So-so. jackl (8271) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Cask @ Tap East. Cheers to Leighton for the pour! The appearance is deep gold with a small white head. The nose is light berry, peach, pale malts, slight citrus and angel food cake. The taste is honeyed grain, dough. Light orange peel and hints of butter. Slight herbal bitterness. Medium body. OK. Overall, a decent golden. The condition isn’t perfect, and this tastes a little mild-mannered. Leighton (21880) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2013
Cask at Tap East, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Pretty classic golden ale: straw, pale malts, some grains, dough, faint dry orange. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Some further dryness in the finish, pale dough, citrus rind, hay. Alright.
