Atlantic is a modern pale ale brewed to feature the best attributes of our ingredients. Succulence from two types of malt, tropical and citrus fruits from new world hops. All this, along with Sharp’s trademark complexity and balance, give a beautifully refreshing pale ale.

Atlantic is a deep golden colour. The aroma of Pale Ale is a blend of stunning citrus notes, juicy tropical fruits and fresh-picked hops with a touch of candy floss. The flavour has a delicate sweetness with fruity succulence and citrus spice to the fore. The finish is sweet at first becoming dry and lingering with hop zest.

Erasmus_ro (3130) - Alabama, USA - JUL 31, 2017
Cask @ The Old City, Hammersmith, London, 18/07/17. Though the place had the look of a boozer, the beer was well kept. Good mouthfeel, smooth. Crisp, some caramel, more biscuit. Nice. Didn’t really taste the American hops. Maybe I tasted what I wanted to taste?

Salian (78) - Sale, Cheshire, ENGLAND - JUL 28, 2017
Light, crisp golden IPA, more fruit than hops flavour, white head, slightly bitter finish.

Sigmund (7759) - Tau, NORWAY - JUL 20, 2017
Cask pint at The Dirty Duck Ale House, Holywood, Northern Ireland. ABV 4.2%. Orange to copper colour, white (or slightly off-white) head. Minimal aroma. The flavour has some notes of fruits and mild spices, tolerable hops.

gnoff (10713) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 17, 2017
Cask ½ pint at Molly Millar, Wokingham, on June 14, 2017.
Slight hazy golden to amber color, nice off-white to yellow head. Malty, fruity, a tad sweet taste. Creamy, malty aftertaste. Smooth low CO2 filling mouthfeel, medium bitterness that feels a tad dry, fruity, malty scent. Easy drinking. Something I could go back to and have several pints of for sure.

Itstasty (104) - East Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2017
Cask @ The Wadkin nr Selby, N Yorks. Decent white head, clear light golden body. Thin mouthfeel. Sweetish malt and light tang of hops. Half decent.

Cask at the Riverside, Pennal. Pours dark gold with a small head. Aroma is bready caramel. Taste is bready to start with an orange and mango finish.

Handpull cask at the King Street Run, Cambridge. Very warm for cask so maybe not the most representative sample but here goes. Golden brown, flat. The teeniest bit of head congregates on the outside of the glass. Caramel malt and some nice floral hop in the scent. Ruined a bit by the sulphur notes. Sweet and malty, like Doom Bar with a bit more crystal and a bit more of a grassy hoppy note. Finish is a bit saccharin for my liking. It’s ok, but very short of exciting.

Holmen1 (6142) - Stavanger, NORWAY - MAR 4, 2017
Håndpumpet på John Baird (Muswell Hill, London), med Steven: klar gylden med flott skum. Tropiske frukter og engelsk malt i en lettdrikkelig og myk kombinasjon med mild bitterhet. Snert av lime i avslutningen.

Cimbasso (930) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 2, 2017
Sampled on draught at the John Baird. A good looking golden colour. Great malt flavour with notes of lime. Mild hop flavour. Quite drinkable.
