Bottle. Pours a clear amber colour with a thin off white head. Aroma of caramel, slight bready malts, a little plum, a hint of toffee, some fruits and subtle spicy hops. Taste of caramel, some bready malts, slight fruit and subtle spicy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A soft, dryish, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. A typical malty bitter. Slightly better on cask but decent for a bottled bitter.

Bottle at home (one of MANY). Doombar is a special beer for me, the beer of hours of conversation with my best buddies. It is supremely drinkable, very light caramel, watery (which helps it go the distance). In a bottle, it is different from cask, can be served very cold, looks beautiful and is way more refreshing.

Bottle. Amber in colour. Fruity; apple, citrus orange. Malty; caramel, sweet toasty malts. Hoppy; mildly spicy hops. Sweet fruity malty throughout; no bitterness. Fairly bland. Easy drinking. (2015-06-17)

Doom! What a great video game! Nice beer but no head just after pouring? Hate that. I like head. It’s nice...like this beer. Enjoy

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - deep amber to red with a nice fluffy head. Nose - a whiff of butterscotch on opening. Confirmed on closer inspection. Light caramel and generally a lack of fruit or bitterness. Taste - more of the same. Caramel mostly. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - much better on cask.

0,5l bottle. Pours copper with medium sized white head which goes away quite quickly. Dark fruits with bready malts, less caramel like than most bitters. Dry and bitter finish. Not bad really, but maybe bit boring. Nice body for the abv too.

Kita (2175) - Koper, SLOVENIA - AUG 29, 2016
Bottle, 0.50l. Clear dark amber color with medium creamy off-white head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma is dusty, grassy and grainy with toffee note. Taste starts light sweet and sour grainy and citric, follows by toasted malt, toffee and mild honey, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Starts with a weak aroma, but luckily turns into a quaffable bitter...

Clear brilliant amber hue with a thin ivory bubbly head that quickly recedes into nothing. The nose is awfully nutty and bready and a touch minerally like any ole English ale, maybe also a touch of soft pretzel. Soft nutty bready flavor that’s a little amberish, English biscuit, and a crisp, light body. Pretty mild and meh.
