heavy (2911) - Split, CROATIA - JUN 2, 2016
Dec. ’15. A 0.5 l bottle from a local Tommy supermarket. It poured a clear brown body with tiny or no head. Weak toast, brown sugar and caramel aroma. Lightly bitter flavor, watered down caramel and biscuit notes, while coarse carbonation helped the bitterness to show up actually. Very thin in body with mineral water mouthfeel - empty and coarse. What is this? Just like the case with some well rated Christmas beers that were bland and plainly bad, do they export only crappy batches here or everybody else is crazy?

I_LUV_BEER (232) - - MAY 29, 2016
Served in a snifter from a 500ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a thin off-white fast diminishing head. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, bread and red fruits. Taste is caramel, roasted malts, red fruits with a smooth subtle bitter finish. Medium body with medium carbonation. Very smooth and extremely balanced amber ale, would be great as a session ale.

Caramel and citrus aroma
Subtly roasted flavour
Citric finish with a hint of caramel

A good amber beer.

Bottle at family gathering (not my first!). Pours brown amber with thin head. Aroma predominately malty with some sweet caramel. Pretty bland, especially compared to the great deep salty notes that I remember from a cask pint in Cornwall the first time I tried this many years ago.

MarkoNm (2972) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - MAY 7, 2016
Pours a clear amber color, topped with a minimal and non-lasting white head. Mild biscuity aroma with a bit of caramel presence. Sweet with caramel notes, finishes with decent bittery feel. Light. Ok.

darioklc (837) - Karlovac, CROATIA - APR 18, 2016
500ml bottle, pretty expensive beer. redish copper color.
Pretty weak flavours. Light caramel malt, light fragrant hops.
Moderately carbonated and fairly thin, typical of the style.

Desverger (13185) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 16, 2016
Bottle from Morrisons, Croydon (10/04/2016) - amber coloured pour with off-white head. Aroma and taste is toasted and sweet malty, caramel, some butterscotch, very watery, pretty forgettable.

Brandman (2963) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 14, 2016
Cask. Just comments and numerals due to social interaction. Caramel, light fruit, grass.
