Black with very little head. Aroma is coffee, plums, chocolate, vanilla, dates. Medium-full bodied, slightly viscous mouthfeel, sweet on the palate with a little coffee roast bitterness. Taste is coffee, vanilla, plans, dates. Not bad, a little sickly. Dfonorow (2250) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 28, 2015
Bottle. Pour is dark brown with slight red tints and an off-white head. Aroma and flavor of light fruit, subtle hops, and coffee grounds. Finish has more of the Belgian yeast coming through. Weird, but not awful. Cimbasso (974) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2015
Pours a hazy dark brown with a beige head. Aromas of chocolate, coffee and vanilla. The taste is extremely full with powerful flavours of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and Christmas pudding. A rich a nd enjoyable beer. MrTipple (5956) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 24, 2015
Aroma: roasted malts, coffee, chocolate. Appearance: hazy, dark brown, medium, beige, frothy head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: roasted flavours again, coffee, bit bitter, actually quite some bitterness coming up, dry finish. Overall: some nice flavours, yet feels unbalanced for an Imperial Stout of that ABV, yet lacks complexity. Bottle at CBR2015, Shoreditch.

Gorgeous dark ruby red deep colour with a decent head. Really not impressed with the taste though. A bit flowery and not as expected.

Appearance is black, a fizzy head which instantly disappears. Looks like coke. Aroma is coffee, lots of liquorice, blackcurrant. Vanilla undertones. Taste- dark chocolate, coffee bitterness, a bit fudgy, liquorice hints, dark fruits, toffee sauce, hint of sticky toffee pudding. Plenty of carbonation, medium mouthfeel. Nice, doesn’t quite come together though. Garrold (5504) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2014
Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Clear, reddy brown. No head. Dried vine fruit. Cola cubes. Taste is grassy dry. Coffee bitter. Overly carbonated, yet thin palate. Finishes cola sweet. Pretty grim. tiong (7513) - Espoo, FINLAND - SEP 14, 2014

Pours dark brown, almost black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, yeast and earthy notes. Taste is malty, roasty and heavy with coffee notes. Finish is roasty and sweetish with hints of yeast and coffee. Quite interesting.
Bottle at Craig’s. Pours very dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of plums and dark sugar, Belgian yeastiness, touch of cola. Taste is more of the same, not getting a right lot of coffee from this. Light body and a little thin. OK.
