nagle (10) - st Teath, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2005
An outstanding bottled beer although also excellent in cask when you can get it. This is the official beer of the Eden Project and it appears that Sharp’s had to pass a very stringent environmental audit.

Bottle at Eden Project in Cornwall. Great idea, I was very suprised to see it. Nice amber body, great natural taste, perfect beer.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2008 Bottle - Sweet berry and malt aroma. Reddish brown color with light tan head. Moderate hop bitterness with a slightly sweet raspberry flavor. A nice beer. Cask just as nice.

Bottle from the Eden Project. Red/brown colour with a large tan head. Very drinkable, malty and hoppy with a bitter finish. The best Sharp’s beer I’ve tried.

Cask at JDW ... Nice amber ... Thin persistant head ... Light toffee nose ... fruity sweet light creamy caramel.

Bottle, 500ml. An amber-coloured pour with almost no head. A strong, room-filling aroma of floral aromatic hops with some malt and biscuity notes. A nice hoppy, malty taste with some honey, banana and a hint of biscuit. A nice sweet, hoppy finish. Very light carbonation. Pretty good, but rather similar to Doom Bar...

imdownthepub (14955) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 16, 2007
Cask conditioned at Far from the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Deep amber to gold with white head. There was a mixed reaction to this one in our group, I found it quite decent. There is a rich, well roasted body with distinctive dry hoppy notes throughout. longish finish. A good start to the evening.

Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - APR 4, 2008
Cask at The Railway (Wetherspoons) in Putney, 2nd April 2008. Very clear amber with a solid white head. Nice hoppy aroma of flowers and citrus fruit. Flavour is likewise, but with a cereal taste becoming apparent and a dry bitterness creeping in. Good hoppy finish - nice stuff.

mirjukka (752) - LOHJA, FINLAND - SEP 21, 2008
cask 568ml at Gallows Bird Espoo 150908 light brown. Strong malty and bitterness complex not easy at all. Strong pleasant bitter aftertaste. More, please.

omhper (25349) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 5, 2003
Bottled. Dark amber with aroma of malt and fruit. Light bodied with delicate fragile, fresh malt profile. Really mild, and with big emphasis on the malt. Low to medium bitterness.
