Cask @ Counting House, JDW. Clear golden colour, medium dense white head. Aroma is lemonade, fruits, biscuit, almost perfumy. Flavour is wheaty, banana, yeast, fruity . Indeed, resembles a belgian white. Decent malty backbone. Fairly dry and slightly bitter finish. Interesting mix of belgian and british styles. Extremely drinkable. bobinlondon (1297) - Harrow, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 26, 2010
Hand pulled cask at the Moon and Sixpence (JDW) Hatch End. Clear gold with a fluffy unsparkled white head. Fruity malt/wheat base with noticeable belgium yeast. Subtle but fresh hop content leads to a complex dry finish. Very good. imdownthepub (15526) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2010
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Pale gold with white head. Light and lemon sorbet like flavours with background hints of passion fruit. Really rather pleasing and much appreciated. DruncanVeasey (8485) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2010
The Baron. None of the natural haze in Hinckley: looks and laces like lager. In fact, I felt a bit of lagerboy sat nursing 3 pints of this in Spoons on a Friday night, but the festival’s on and you’ve got to get your ticks whilst you can- good beer might not come again until the next one. Honeyed malts and tropical hop hints in aroma. Fresh, perfumey, vanilla-malty like the 6 Hop IPA; pineapple and soapy pine rounded with red apple sweetness; some chopped coriander, wine gums, cashew afters. I am getting the cloudy lemonade and bubblegum on the second sitting. Very likeable fusion of things where the Belgian yeast chimes in but doesn’t overwhelm the delicate malt and hop character. Tasty.

JDW Spring fest - Rochester. A lightly spicy beer, hints of ginger. Quite pale. Some sweetness, though well attenuated. Decent stuff - drinkable and pleasant in a laid back way. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2010
Cask conditioned handpump Cordwainer Northampton. A slightly hazy golden coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. A tart acidity with wheat and citrus notes in the aroma. Tart and citrus in the mouth. A reasonable attempt at a Belgian Wit type beer, with spicy hints. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2010

A Mes rate. Cask at Baker Street ’Sporks.wheresthepath (2424) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2010
Semi hazy gold with an off white film top. Bland but inoffensive delicately hopped snout. Better in the mouth. Well balanced, pleasant citric bitterness and a clean finish with a faint mineral note. One dimensional but very drinkable.
[Cask at the Hope Tap, Reading] Pale, slightly hazy gold with a slight white head. Sweet Belgian yeast aroma of candy sugar and artificial strawberry. Heavier hopping than would be the case in Belgium prevents sickliness, with pineapple, ginger, cinnamon and a decent bitterness coming through. An interesting effort, although I’m not sure how much I’d want to drink of it. Would have very definitely classified this as a Belgian ale rather than a golden.
