Cask conditioned at The Pineapple, Kentish Town, London. Hazy orange gold with slight head. Full on sweetness right from the start, honeyed definitely, to be expected I suppose, but this does mask the hops somewhat. There is a citrus background there, but it struggles to get through.
On tap at a pub in London but under the name Honey Spiced IPA. Hopefully this is the correct beer. Hoppy smell, flowery with some honey. Similar taste, slightly sweet and floral. Smooth mouthfeel. Leighton (21299) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 31, 2012
Cask at The White Horse (Exchange Square), London. Pours light hazy gold with a fine, white foam head. Nice nose, some grapefruit. Tangy flavor with tangy citrus, grapefruit, some berries. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Tangy finish - this beer seems a bit off - with some melon, grapefruit and mild, grassy bitterness. This beer is definitely out of shape; and too bad, as there seems to be some nice character here. jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 23, 2012
Cask @ The Anglesea Arms, South Kensington. The pour’s deep gold with a small white head. The nose is strong honey, sweet baked bread, light floral garden and dried grass. The taste is quite sweet honey-buttered bread. Mild herbal hop. Doughy sugar cookie. Light, but a bit syrupy. Soft carbonation. Overall, not too bad. A bit sweet for a full pint, but well made. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - SEP 22, 2012

On tap at the Rake. Clear gold beer, tiny white head. Palate is semi dry and a little soft. Very fine carbonation. Nice bright orange hops with a touch of tinned fruit syrup. Lesser notes of apricot, mango and a trace of lemon. Mild fresh hop sting. There is an overall sweetness to this IPA but nothing overtly honey. Finishes slightly astringent with some spice kicking in. Honey IPAs eh? Interesting! More please!
