Bottle. Cloudy orange copper pour with a small white head. Herb, citrus, metal, bread, pine. Strong carbonation with medium body and bitter finish. Not bad at all to have on a cold day ROGUE (2216) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - OCT 1, 2013
12oz bottle. Poured a murky copper color with a three finger frothy white head. Has a light piney hop with a grainy pale malt aroma. Flavor of moderately toasted malts with herbal and piney hops. Lighter creamy body with higher carbonation.

16 oz. draft. Deep golden copper pour, great lacing, white head. Smell is citrus, lemon and piney hops. Taste is a decent malt combined with a balanced hop profile, not too bitter. Very decent.

Bottle. Can't recall from whom. A slightly dusty malt nose with a woody hop. Minty flavor. A bread/toasty malt. This is easy drinking but not an IPA. slightly more pepper as it warms. Not bad. Not great v

Bottle. Pours a clear copper body with a large foamy beige head that had very good retention and left some sticky lacing. The nose is just lightly hoppy with some citrusy notes, and the malt character is coming through as being heavy on the crystal malt. A little caramel, but mostly crystal, and I don’t care for that in an IPA. The flavor is even heavier on the crystal malt than I thought it would be. Just a very light citrusy hop note makes it past all the sugary crystal malt. Which leads into the body being overly heavy and sticky with a residual sweetness that lingers on well past any hop bitterness. Overall not what I want in an IPA. Disappointing.

Bottle complements of Mark. Nice unfiltered complexion. Flavor has grapefruit and citrus with balanced hops.

Cloudy poor medium head. Decent lacing. Fruity aroma with some hops coming through. Taste of orange, grapefruit and grass. Hops come out on top. Decent but not the best. mcclainc50 (217) - New York, USA - AUG 8, 2013
Pours a nice amber color two finger head with heavy lacing. Hoppy grapefrit nose to it. Strong hops favor to this beer which tends to overwhelm the other flavors that are hidden suh as the nice citrus complexity. Worth a try if you’re a hophead. Which I am. Belle couleur orangée. On perçoit des dépôts dans le liquide également. Nez très puissant de houblons, de lime et de citron. En bouche, la puissance des houblons est toujours là. Wow! Long en bouche, plein d’amertume. Ce que je souhaite d’une bonne IPA robuste. Un coup de coeur! Cheers! keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - AUG 1, 2013
Bottled June 13, 2013.
Appearance: Hazy amber body with a huge light tan head. The head is dense and dissipates unevenly and very slowly, creating caverns through it. Too much head though, it’s 75% of the pour.
Aroma: Sweet citrus is noticed instantly, oranges and grapefruit with mango and pineapple. with a very slight floral and pine presence.
Taste: The flavor isn’t as fruity as the aroma, in-fact caramel and toasted malts are the prominent flavor here with very low bitterness with hints of floral and grapefruit notes towards the finish.
Palate: Medium bodied with low to moderate carbonation.
Overall: The aroma hinted at a pretty good IPA, but unfortunately the flavor didn’t translate properly. This is decent at best, even for the price.
