Bottle from Waterbury Beverage Warehouse. Aroma: toffee, caramel, sugar. App: brown - Coca Cola-ish color with small white head and some lacing. Taste and palate: Medium body, medium sweetness with light short sweet finish. Overall: Not too sure about this one, Feels like I’m going to drink a Scotch ale than the taste fades away. Even though my expectations weren’t high I’m a light disappointed. Jow (4164) - Orlando, Florida, USA - NOV 28, 2014

Enjoyed in Vermont. Definitely unfiltered with lots of floating particles. Copper colour with a light beige head and some creamy lacing. Aromas of fruity malts with hints of roasted ones. Some caramel as well and nuts. Much of the same for the taste. A nice mix between a brown and red ale. MrTipple (6952) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2014

Dank aroma of malt, earth, chocolate and the alcohol is effervescent. Thick and malty texture. Sticky palate. Taste is slightly metallic and sweet...weird combination. Finishes malty again with cocoa and oak. It is strong. Bebum (1121) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 27, 2014
Brown, SRM 23, quickly dissipating head, leaving no lace. Medium body, slight in flavor, alcoholic but smooth mouthfeel, little carbonation, avg length. Sweet taste, mostly because of low bitterness, Yeasty, particularly in the finish, malty, nutty, evoking pecan and walnut, guaraná Antarctica . Too alcoholic to be a session drink, too unexciting to be anything else. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone GIJOE (1258) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - SEP 18, 2014
Pours dark brown with a thin, filmy white head. Thick lacing. Nose is malty. Taste is an interesting blend of sweet up front transitioning to a slightly tart finish. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Nice brew.

Appearance is thick and murky, full of sediment. Nose is promising, nutty and sweet. However, taste is a let down. Caramel, maple, walnuts, lots of toffee and plum. The taste stays for a second after you swallow and then disappears pretty completely. Mediocre kathouse (1942) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - AUG 10, 2014
A malty aroma brown ale that pours dark and attractive. Toasted aromas do not show any hop traits. Medium sticky body. Raisins and plums with toffee and more toast. Finish lasts.
