An English-style strong ale. This brown ale has great malt depth and drinks like a session beer.

Loved how they hid the abv content! Tasty beer! Not hoppy! Nice light lingering head. Decent old ale style

12oz Bottle. Pours a dark reddish brown with a nice thin lacy head. The main taste I sense is a sugar and light caramel note. Not that bad just a little sweeter than I had expected

From a bottle poured an amber color with a fair amount of head. Nice malty flavor with a lingering aftertaste.

Bottle shared by dudeabide. Poured a clear brown color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.

12 oz. bottle shared by dudeabide- thanks, Nate! Pours a tea amber color with a small beige head. Aroma of toasted and caramel malts, mixed nuts, and dried leaves. The flavor is the same. Light-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a smooth, earthy, sweet mouthfeel. Drinks more like a 5.5% brown ale than a 7.4% strong ale. Either way, not a lot to it.

12oz bottle, shared by dudeabide. Mildly hazy brown red color. Little bubble off-white head. Dots of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, light carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Nutty, malty aroma, some dark fruit. Hint of olive. Lightly toasty, some earthy hop. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Solid, robust, malty brown ale.

Bottle to snifter (shared by dudeabide). Looks solid; a translucent brown with thin off-white lacing. Smells semi-sweet and malty. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Okay.

12 oz bottle shared by dudeabide. Pours a clear amber brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have malts, earth, mild nutty character, caramel, actually pretty drinkable, my expectations were exceeded.

Poured from bottle into shaker. Pours almost bottle brown with a haze. Thin off white head with some laceing. Aroma is malt with a nutty flavor. Taste is malt, nut and plum. Light mouth feel. Was a bit light in taste for me but I think it gets stronger in the finish. I picked up a nutty taste turning coffee in the end. Not bad but wouldn’t be my a return pick up for me unless I used it as a better gereral brew for friends.

Pours brown with a white head. Nutty aroma with flavors of plum and raisin. Definitely on the sweet side.
