1/2 at Wetherspoons in the Metrocentre. Golden with a tight white head that left lacing down the glass. Citrus and demerera aroma. Grapefruit and juicy apricot flavour, some plump raisins too. I have begun to get a bit cautious around new IPAs, everyone seems to be putting one out, with varying degrees of success, and Ive experienced a couple of dubious attempts recently, so Im happy to give this fine example my seal of approval.

Cask at Square Peg, Brum. This is a car crash. Car car craaaaaaash. Boiled sweet flavour - no discernible hoppage. If this is an IPA, then Im George Osbornes wife. Colossal disappointment.
