Cask by handpump at Hengler’s Circus, Glasgow - clear amber, thin creamy beige head, weak floral aroma, excellent lacing, rum and raisin toffee flavour, very well balanced, strong alcohol content not noticeable, very nice Martin243 (1200) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2013
1/2 at Wetherspoons in the Metrocentre. Golden with a tight white head that left lacing down the glass. Citrus and demerera aroma. Grapefruit and juicy apricot flavour, some plump raisins too. I have begun to get a bit cautious around new IPA’s, everyone seems to be putting one out, with varying degrees of success, and I’ve experienced a couple of dubious attempts recently, so I’m happy to give this fine example my seal of approval. wheresthepath (2342) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 28, 2013
[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading] Amber with a moderate white head. Peach and flowers up front, a sweet juicy, fruity middle, and a mildly bitter grapefruit & pine finish. Sweeter & less hoppy than many IPAs. A very British take on an American IPA, focussing more on balance and drinkability than aggressiveness. The alcohol is well hidden, and it’s tasty and rather moreish. Good stuff. SarkyNorthener (4673) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 6, 2013

Cask conditioned handpump Eastgate Northampton 05/04/13 A reddish brown coloured beer with a white head and lace. A very hoppy tasty full bodied beer. The malt is on the sweet and jammy side and the hops are big and American bold. It’s really very nice.
