eczematic (1325) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - FEB 25, 2002
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2003 Nice lemon, pine and grass aromas (like my ideal bathroom cleaning agent). Buttery texture, a bit like Marstons Pedigree. Syruppy crystal malt sweetness that evaporates all of a sudden with a dry, spicy finish.

A chance discovery! A delightful ale, smooth and slightly fruity with a good strong aftertaste

rauchbier (3891) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - FEB 11, 2002
Lovely hop resin aromas, deep copper colour with a rocky head, buttery malt in the mouth with a soft sweet malt finish and a hop bitterness in the aftertaste. A very enjoyable pint.

A fruity, spicy, good volume beer. On the sweet side. Could have been an excellent scandinavian ’juleøl’.

Damn what I would give to be slamin’ a pint of this ale right now. Big malt nose and a decent bite, hearty me lad! a great beer.
