Dragonblaze99 (353) - Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 19, 2011
Pours clear and golden orange. Slightly hoppy and malty aroma. Initial citrusy hoppy bitterness that mellows into malty toffee and raisin. Clear alcohol tang. Finishes with dry warmth and plum. Lingering aftertaste. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty dark fruit aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweetish malty dark fruit and caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty dark fruit finish.

JensenTaster (1719) - DENMARK - OCT 15, 2009
(on bottle) Orange, with small, white head. The aroma is madeira/Port; complex. The carbonation is short and perky.Swet taste; dark fruits, figs, prunes, raisins. The malt gets candy like, long strings of sugar getting both bitter, burnt and like cane sugar, melasses too. Very wine like finish, the fruits are very present.

Monkeypower (172) - Odense C, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2008
Received bottle #1382 as a moving in present and enjoyed with the family for my sons naming ceremony. Clear golden/red color with medium textured, tanned head. Citric aroma with notes of herbs, phenol, honey and nuts. Phenols in the flavor with more citrus fruits, honey and oak.

Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 23, 2008

Big bottle, old style
Amber color. A quite good caramel brew, with medium-low bitterness, medium-hihg alcohol perception, strong oxidation that gives some complexity. Not bad.

[Courtesy of yespr] Clear amber with tiny off white head. Sweet vinious aroma with caramel, plums and roasted malt. Sweet vinious flavor with caramel, toasted malt and ripe fruits. Warming alcohol towards the end.

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 9, 2008
Courtesy of Yespr. The color is red copper, and there is hardly any head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and dried fruits. The flavour is very sweet with notes of roasted malt, dried fruits, raisin, prunes, caramel and citrus. It’s really nice, but should not be any sweeter.

yespr (47545) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUN 7, 2008
