Bottle 0.50L. Clear, amber/copper color with small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, mild coffee, roasted malts and brown sugar. Taste starts light bitter and fruity, while finish is a bit more bitter and caramely. Medium body, dry texture, soft carbonation. Classic English ale.

Light reddish, a bit of carbonation. Big fluffy head, the slightest off-white, shows nice retention and a bit of lacing. Aroma is soft nutty and caramel malts, red fruits and a light resinous hint. Delicate but still quite intense. Taste follows the aroma, with a hint of alcohol warmth. Perfect sweet/bitter balance, maybe a bit less intense than the smell suggested. Medium body, low crispness, decently silky. A pleasant slow sipper

Pours dark amber. Aroma is rich malt, with some cereal grains. Flavor is also rich malty, a bit bready, sweet and fruit notes, with mild hopping and some alcohol noticeable. Pretty good.

Dark amber pour. Sweet cereal aroma. Dry with a cherry woody nutty caramel malt character. Nice, tasty and very satisfying. A mid to big body so it fills you up. This and the Bishops Finger were both nice ales from the brewery.
