Pasteurised - maybe split?
500ml bottle (Kuikka, Helsinki)
Big hoppy waft on opening and pouring. Perfumey and some husky malts in the aroma - very much the shepherd neame fingerprint. Mid gold, small tight head. Crisp carbonation, and quite a thin palate. Retronasals quite grainy. Quite mushroomy body, lots of malt, grainy, but a great wave of hops too. Finish is mostly bitter and biting noble hops, lots in the range between EKG and Spalt. Enjoyable bitter for a session, not too emasculated by pasteurisation.

Pinball (12060) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 23, 2011
clear yellow, small white head. eglish style metallic slighly flowery hop aroma. flavor is bitter hoppy, dry.
