Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear deep amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of sweaty feet, caramel, fruit, some nuttiness and slight spicy hops. Taste of caramel, nuts, fruit, a hint of sulphur and slight spicy, earthy hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, malty bitterness in the finish. A decent, smooth, malty beer but its all malt and fruit. An average premium bitter.

Cask. Aroma mildly malty but faint. Pours amber with an off white lace top. Tastes toasty and hoppy with a tart bitter tang. An average beer that was once a good one.

Handpump at Tree Folks in Rome-Italy. Pours a caramel amber brigh color, semi clear. Creamy off-white foam. Nose: peanuts, dry grass. Mouth: super nutty, rich maltiness, cherry skin, velvety bitter final almost unpredictable. So tasty! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask in the Old Doctor Butlers Head. Deep reddish amber colour, thin white foam. Rich, full malty flavours with a pronounced bitter hoppy finish, earthy/spicy rather than floral/citrus. A most satisfying pint.
