Pours clean amber with nice little off white head. Short head retention, poor lacing. Malty, herbal, caramel nose. Medium body, soft carbonation ,oily texture. Taste follows the nose, smooth. Plain but solid. Enjoyable.

Towey1989 (3038) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2016
Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear deep amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of sweaty feet, caramel, fruit, some nuttiness and slight spicy hops. Taste of caramel, nuts, fruit, a hint of sulphur and slight spicy, earthy hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, malty bitterness in the finish. A decent, smooth, malty beer but it’s all malt and fruit. An average premium bitter.
