COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Canterbury Jack has been hand crafted using the finest Kentish hops and barley, creating a light refreshing and contemporary ale, bursting with citrus nose and flavour. Sharping its name with an ancient hop and the nickname for a county rogue, it is truly a Kentish character ale.

djoeye (4605) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2013
Bottle 50cl abv4, found at Isrenna Ica, and Matservice Eurospar Langnes, Tromsø. White airy head sticks areas inside the mug, and a bright amber lively body, beautiful colour. Hoppy scents with distinct smokey malts too. Tastes grass, hops, bitter, lemon peel, roasted malts, toast, burnt wood. Mouthfeel light bitter and well made, carbonation is low and pleasant. Ends in a bittersweet feel, and overall very tasty considering the moderate abv.

liamagester (17) - Swords, IRELAND - OCT 10, 2013
Poured from 500ml bottle to tulip pint glass. A light bodied ale with low carbonation and minimal head, the aroma is hoppy but faint. Taste improves as it warms up towards the end of the glass. Not life-changing.

Erzengel (8619) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 6, 2013
Sehr hopfiger Geruch, dunkel goldene Farbe. Grasig hopfig. Der Antrunk ist malzig-herb, typisch alig. Im Hauptteil hopfenaromatisch-herb, sehr toll malzig, dabei aromatisch-frisch-herb. Im Nachgeschmack lang anhaltend, hopfenaromatisch-herb, sehr ale-typisch. --> Sehr lecker und toll! --> 13/12/12/12

Dark golden with a white head - A nice hop aroma with some malt in the back - a good malt body, but perhaps a little on the thin side, but still good , and there is olso a good hop presence with a Nice bitterness - some hop bitterness in the finish - this was nice

Rune (12587) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 3, 2013
500ml bottle from EuroSpar Langnes, thanks to Leif for sharing. Clear amber coloured body. Off-white head that recedes to a tiny layer. Spotty glass-lacing. Herbal hoppy nose with mid-sweet malts. Rounded flavours of citrus and mid-sweet malts. Very smooth bittersweet finish. Quite well bodied considering the low abv. Satisfying session drink (Tromsø, 02.08.2013).

Foffern (1850) - Bodø, NORWAY - JUL 17, 2013
Bottle at home. Pours a clear amber colour with an off-white medium head. Lots of fudge in the aroma along with cake, oak, grassy hops and wort. The flavour has more grassy hops with hay, and feels dry in the end. Has a slick and light mouth feel, and a lasting medium bitterness. An okay bitter but maybe a bit light flavour and a little unbalanced.
