COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Canterbury Jack has been hand crafted using the finest Kentish hops and barley, creating a light refreshing and contemporary ale, bursting with citrus nose and flavour. Sharping its name with an ancient hop and the nickname for a county rogue, it is truly a Kentish character ale.

liamagester (17) - Swords, IRELAND - OCT 10, 2013
Poured from 500ml bottle to tulip pint glass. A light bodied ale with low carbonation and minimal head, the aroma is hoppy but faint. Taste improves as it warms up towards the end of the glass. Not life-changing.

Erzengel (8293) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 6, 2013
Sehr hopfiger Geruch, dunkel goldene Farbe. Grasig hopfig. Der Antrunk ist malzig-herb, typisch alig. Im Hauptteil hopfenaromatisch-herb, sehr toll malzig, dabei aromatisch-frisch-herb. Im Nachgeschmack lang anhaltend, hopfenaromatisch-herb, sehr ale-typisch. --> Sehr lecker und toll! --> 13/12/12/12

500ml bottle from EuroSpar Langnes, thanks to Leif for sharing. Clear amber coloured body. Off-white head that recedes to a tiny layer. Spotty glass-lacing. Herbal hoppy nose with mid-sweet malts. Rounded flavours of citrus and mid-sweet malts. Very smooth bittersweet finish. Quite well bodied considering the low abv. Satisfying session drink (Troms, 02.08.2013).

Bottle at home. Pours a clear amber colour with an off-white medium head. Lots of fudge in the aroma along with cake, oak, grassy hops and wort. The flavour has more grassy hops with hay, and feels dry in the end. Has a slick and light mouth feel, and a lasting medium bitterness. An okay bitter but maybe a bit light flavour and a little unbalanced.

0,5 l shared bottle from ICA Mandal. Clear sparkling golden orange body with a small white head. Flowery, heathery malts on the nose. Fruity tobacco notes on a watery textured, resiny and light papery bitterness. Medium bodied.

500ml bottle at a gig in Charlies. Pours a clear amber red with a lasting white head. Aroma is caramel, toast and a vague fruitiness. Taste is nearly all sweetness with just a touch of bitterness there in the balance - again lots of caramel and fruit. Refreshing malty aftertaste, very smooth on the palate. Decent enough beer, Id happily drink it again at 4 a bottle.
