Yet another clear, medium amber brew from Shepherd Neame in a clear bottle. The off-white head is a bit small, but it stays around for quite some time and it laces the glass well. Moderate aroma that is lovely crisp and it has some delicious hoppy notes, lots of citrus, a good amount of fruits and a caramel backbone. Light sweet taste with a moderate bitter finish. Refreshing flavours with grapefruit, resin, fruits and caramel. Quite dry on the palate, light to medium body, moderate carbonation. A good one!
[33 cl bottle, from Meny Oslo City, Oslo]

500 ml bottle. Clear amber body with medium sized off-white head. Aroma has caramel malt, dark fruit and a hint of citric. Flavour is sweet malt, caramel, fruit and light balanced bitterness. Medium body and medium aftertaste. All in all a medium beer in all aspects with no miss flavours and sometimes this is just what I need. Would not mind to have this on a regular basic, and if not I would easily find something similar.

Pours amber. Some white head. Malt, metal and skunk nose. Why do the british continue to use clear bottles? Malt, metal, some hop, blood aroma. A bit sour.
