Canterbury Jack has been hand crafted using the finest Kentish hops and barley, creating a light refreshing and contemporary ale, bursting with citrus nose and flavour. Sharping its name with an ancient hop and the nickname for a county rogue, it is truly a Kentish character ale.

Bottle from Meny Manglerud enjoyed at home
Copper hazy, offwhite head. Smells of malts, english hops, tea and biscuit. Moderate sweet, quite dry, some nice dark malts and some dark fruits. Moderate to medium bitter finish with earthy hops and resins. A quite good bitter; easy drinkable and good session stuff

Bottle from Aldi and drunk at home. Clear mid brown colour lasting cream head. Shepherd Neame aroma yeast. Ugly malt in the mouth. Light bitterness on the finish. Oh dear. It’s not very good at all.

Happy Birthday RichTheVillan. This Welfare store beer is dedicated to you. Bottle from Homebargains, Walsall. Amber beer with medium head. Aroma of malts and citrus. Taste is citrus, some tangerine, dry malts and light caramel. Not bad actually.

Bottle. Copper in colour. Fruity; citrus orange. Malty; biscuity malts, caramel. Hoppy; slight earthy and grassy hops. Woody and musty notes. Dry throughout. Sweet fruit malty leading to a dry mildly bitter hoppy finish. Easy drinking. (2010-12)

Served in a snifter from a 500ml bottle. Pours clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is slightly malty with pleasant citrus hops and caramel notes. Taste is balanced bitter-sweet with slight caramel notes. Light body with soft carbonation and slight bitter finish. Very refreshing and could qualify for a decent session ale.

Bottle at home. Shared by Father-in-law, thanks. Poured a clear light brown with white head. Aromas are mostly heather. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet, slight metallic palate. OK

UPDATED: APR 14, 2015 Szép tiszta sötét borostyán lágy vékonyan megmaradó habbal. Illata finom nem túlzottan sok karamell, garfruit, citrus, komlóolaj. Visszafogottan édes és malátás erősen keserű kenyeres utóízzel. Élén szénsavas. Van benne komló rendesen. A hatos bitter csomag 4. áldozata eddig a legjobbja.

Holmen2 (4031) - NORWAY - APR 8, 2015
Bottle contributed by, and shared with, EMJ at OSB 08.04.15. Clear golden. Foamy and persistent off-white head. Wondeful aroma of English hops, fresh grass and malt. Similar superb taste, with good grass-ish bitterness on aftertaste. Very quaffable.

arsol (1241) - NORWAY - OCT 17, 2014
Brun farge med hvitt skum. Lukter malt og noe karamell. Smaker maltsødme. Medium med kullsyre. lettdrikkelig og med sødme som sitter igjen i avslutningen.
