Clear amber-copper color, small white head. Strong Shep Neame style minerally, toffeish, citrus hoppy aroma. Light body, but decent palate. Some citrus, dry pinewood. Decent, but with watery finish.
Bottle. It pours a clear, dark golden to amber body and a small, off-white head. It hash a quite bready aroma, with caramel and some faint roasted notes. Some grassy, lightly piney hops blends in, Quite bitter on the palate, dry, with soft carbonation and a bready, caramel maltyness. Medium body. Bitter, bready finish with a metallic touch. Certainly not a beer I’ll miss, but considering the strength, it’s a fine one. 130309 imdownthepub (15524) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 22, 2013

Rounded flavours of citrus and mid-sweet malts. Very smooth bittersweet finish. Quite well bodied considering the low abv. Satisfying session drink (Tromsø, 02.08.2013).
