COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Canterbury Jack has been hand crafted using the finest Kentish hops and barley, creating a light refreshing and contemporary ale, bursting with citrus nose and flavour. Sharping its name with an ancient hop and the nickname for a county rogue, it is truly a Kentish character ale.

Bottle from Aldi and drunk at home. Clear mid brown colour lasting cream head. Shepherd Neame aroma yeast. Ugly malt in the mouth. Light bitterness on the finish. Oh dear. It’s not very good at all.

Happy Birthday RichTheVillan. This Welfare store beer is dedicated to you. Bottle from Homebargains, Walsall. Amber beer with medium head. Aroma of malts and citrus. Taste is citrus, some tangerine, dry malts and light caramel. Not bad actually.

Bottle. Copper in colour. Fruity; citrus orange. Malty; biscuity malts, caramel. Hoppy; slight earthy and grassy hops. Woody and musty notes. Dry throughout. Sweet fruit malty leading to a dry mildly bitter hoppy finish. Easy drinking. (2010-12)

Served in a snifter from a 500ml bottle. Pours clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is slightly malty with pleasant citrus hops and caramel notes. Taste is balanced bitter-sweet with slight caramel notes. Light body with soft carbonation and slight bitter finish. Very refreshing and could qualify for a decent session ale.
