This golden amber ale has a generous aroma of tropical fruit. The fruity flavour has hints of mangoes, oranges, lemons and sultanas. The pleasant floral hop balances this beer perfectly. It is a drying, warming, rounded ale to sip and savour at leisure.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is flowery hoppy with notes of elderberries and a light touch of malt and caramel. The flavor is malty with notes of toffee and an elderberry note of hops, leading to a light bitter finish, which is quite dry with hints of wood.

Appearance: amber color. Great head, clear beige color, some rocky and very persistent.
Aroma: sweet, mainly to caramel malts, very nutty, toffee and vanilla touches. I remember a sponge cake. Several and intensives fruity smells, like oranges, peaches, tangerines and mango. Low hoppy. Liquor smells, with reminiscences of whisky and old rum.
Flavor: sweet start; with caramel malty, toasty, very nutty, toffee, sponge cake, vanilla and oak notes. Varied, but some slight in all flavors. Fruitiness of oranges, tangerines and mangos. Few hoppy intensity. Nice liquory.
Palate: Medium body with watery texture.
Very nice nutty and liquory. Slight lack of flavor insensity.

Flaske. Rigtig udemærket øl. Overraskende frisk i betragtning af at jeg havde glemt den bagerst i skabet. Rødgul farve og et lille skum. Humlen smager igennem så den minder en smule om en pale ale.

Maybe little wrong to drink now but i have had i bottle in the refrigerator for a long time now.
Pours a dark amber body, with a thin layer of white foam on top.
Aromia of caramel vanilla and litttle dried fruit.
Flavor of floraly hops in the begining, this disapears fast however.
Caramel malt and little spicy.
Burnt toffee and vannila and wood.
The vanilla take over after a while.
Palate is medium thick and syrupy.

Bottle. Amber with a large white head. Sweet, caramel, fruity. Good to have on a winter or at least autumn. But I had a beer left from last November :-) Slightly bitter finish.

imdownthepub (15381) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2007
Bottled, pasteruised, 500ml. Orange amber with white, short, head. Puddingy sweet beer with heavy fruity and caramel notes. Mixed spices and raisin type fruit throughout, lacks a finish apart from lingering fruity sweetness. Its fine as a fireside beer.

Papsoe (25055) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 15, 2007
(Bottle 50 cl) Clear amber colour with a tall, dense, off-white head. Sweetish, caramelish nose. Medium body with a soft - almost velvety - mouthfeel. Sweet notes of caramel malt and a whiff of nuts. The finish is dry with a subdued bitterness. Well crafted. 150707

VilleH (31) - Vieremä, FINLAND - JUN 29, 2007
Spicy but still fruity aroma. Brown appearance with thin foam. Malty, surprisingly weak flavor. Warmy effects with a hint of apple. Bittery taste. Nicely balanced and warming christmas beer!

Borup (15553) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2007
Bottle. Clear amber colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of fruit, hops and some malt.

NosirIwont (2604) - Husum, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2007
UPDATED: MAY 15, 2007 Bottle. Pours amber/golden with a diminishing, slightly off-white head. Sourish and sweetish cereal/corn aroma with milky notes. Sweetish flavour. Cereals here as well. Notes of alcohol and remote metallic notes. Medium bitter and dry finish. Cereals. Lingering apple notes. 06-05-2007.
