Bottle from a Finnish supermarket. 2 days ago (as was Postiljon and the ratings I’ll be entering now). Black body, creamy tan head. Crappy roasty nose, notes of alcohol, really strange for the ABV. Smooth malty taste, slightly roasty, very light... something, lemon maybe. Vague notes of orange (what’s with the agrumes in this rating?) Not bad but I expected a bit more. 0.5 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Almost opaque black color. The aromas of coffee, chocolate, dark fruits and dark caramel. Dry coffeish, chocolatey and minerally taste with burnt sugar. Good stout, feels stronger than it is. Hermod (7848) - Vantaa, FINLAND - AUG 3, 2011
50cl bottle from K-Kamppi, Helsinki. Poured black with a nice beige lacing head. Aroma has coffee, roasted malt and some chocolate. Flavor similar, coffee and roasted malt, hops quite noticeable towards finish. Smooth palate. Thin, but very enjoyable. gnoff (10336) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - JUL 26, 2011
50 cl bottle from K-Supermarket Kamppi, Helsinki, on July 22, 2011.mile (3947) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 27, 2011
Clear dark brown color, tan head. Sweet, malty, chocolate, roasted scent. Malty, sweet, roasted taste. Malty and metallic aftertaste. A bit thin mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
Bottle. Very dark brown, small to average and fully diminishing brown head. Moderate malty and sweetish aroma, some roasted malt, faint coffee and toffee. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, roasted malt and licorice, some coffee. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, some roasted malt with coffee and licorice, faint hoppyness. Lightly sweetish stout with roastiness and coffee – OK but nothing special.

6 Nice dry roasty toasty aroma, but a little muted.
3 Lovely deep reddy brown, tan head. And then the idiots put it in a clear glass bottle, so punishing them a point for that mistake.
7 Rather a simple dry stout, but definitely does the ’dry’ bit well. Certainly well attenuated, and with hints of dark chocolate occasionally.
4 Smooth, but refreshing palate, pleasant carbonation. Finish lovely and burnt roastiness, and with a gently tingle of noble hops.
13 For a bottled beer, this is very tasty. Shame about the horrific clear glass bottle, there’s a good beer inside.
500 ml bottle. Black color, tan head. Smooth roasted flavor, dry finish with unsweetened chocolate. Slightly tart mouthfeel. Medium-light body, medium carbonation. It’s ok. yespr (45443) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 25, 2011
