Great stout. Hints of coffee, chocolate and Smokey flavours. 500mL is not enough

0.5l bottle. Malty aroma, caramel, roasted malts, coffee, cocoa notes, plums. Black color, beige head. Taste is the same as aroma, light sour, medium bitter. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation and coffee bitter finish. Good.

Bottle. 5.2%. Best before 06.17. Pours almost black, with a creamy, tan head. Good lacing. Roasted aroma with a chocolate note and a light fruity overtone. Flavour is slightly tart, and roasted. Light coffee overtone. Fruity note as it warms. Bitter finish, roasted, dry-ish and a wee bit watery. Lingering tart coffee note and a coffee-ish bitterness, as well as a metallic hint. Overall pretty solid. 26.02.17.

Pours a very dark brown with a creamy light brown head. Full bodied and full of character (haven’t tried too many DS’s to truly compare). Smokey, bitter and savoury. Nice, but no jaw dropper...

Cerveza color negro obscuro. Corona de espuma pequeña de baja retención. Aromas a maltas tostadas, café y chocolate amargo. Al paladar consistencia líquida, fácil de beber con notas predominantes a maltas tostadas, café y un amargor moderado con sutil dulzor. Cerveza que a mi gusto estaría mucho mejor si tuviera más cuerpo. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tranquillity (2564) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 7, 2017
Draft at Kaisla, Helsinki. Black body with a brown thick head. The aroma is chocolatey, with nuts, oak and gloves. Complex. The flavor profile has some sourness to it with mellow bitter chocolate. Brewed to perfection but not my favorite style of stout.

Geruch nach Malz, Kaffee und dunkler Schokolade. Geschmack leicht rauchig, Kaffee, Schokolade. Im Nachgeschmack ein bisschen Aschenbecher.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Lior D. Dark brown to black with a beige head. Nice aroma of dark chocolate, some nuts, a bit of roast. Rather dry flavor, slightly sweetish, with chocolate, roast, and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Nice.

Bottle 0,50L. Very dark brown color with large, frothy, light brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate, strong black coffee, burnt malts, a touch of tar (or maybe smoke). Taste is moderate bitter, strong coffee like. Finish is moderate bitter with a bitter dark chocolate and long lasting aftertaste. Medium body, dry texture, soft carbonation, metallic finish. Good, old school, English stout.
