Sun Inn, Kelvedon. Cask. Clear copper colour beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, fine carbonation. Malts provide tangy caramel. Spicy esters. Bitter floralness. Mild marmalade. Some very light dusted sugar candy fruits. Smooth finish. Pretty tasty.
Bottle from Lidl. Copper-brown with a very thin head. Has a small hoppy nose and a fairly bland malt-hop taste with a small sweetness and small bitterness. BeerViking (4779) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2014
Bottle, now at 3.8%, brown with an aroma of light citrus and spice, a bit watery, though with earthy and lightly tangy fruit malt. Very typical of a Sheps bitter - you’d easily guess it’s one of theirs. hohops (997) - Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 11, 2014
Cask. Pours deep amber, pretty clear, an off-white head which clings to the glass. Aroma- caramel, treacle, malts, fruit hints, hoppy. Taste- raisin, caramel, malts, smooth, hops, dark fruits, bit of brown sugar. Nice bitter. gegwilson (3701) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 10, 2014
Bottle from B&M. Amber with a bit of cream froth. Some marmalade notes and citrus too. A bit over carbonated. Drikable enough, but nothing about it stads out.

Cask. Dark rust ale with a thick very light tan head. Nose is biscuits and red wine. In the mouth is instant biscuits and dark cocoa cream. A bit like a bourbon cream. There’s dark fruits -plum, little bit of raisin. Finish is long, flavoursome and tasty. Svesse (8595) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - APR 23, 2014
(Cask at Edgar Wallace, Strand, London, 8 Apr 2014) Reddish brown colour with dense, beige head. Malty nose with notes of chocolate, caramel, dark fruit and toffee. Malty taste with caramel, chocolate, toffee, a touch of cherries and a slightly bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and quite tasty. Nice one. I hope this is the right one. Drinking it in Prince of Wales in Clapham with a hastily written hand written sign on the front. Let's go for that one anyway. It's yummy. Nutty, chocolatey, caramel. Subtle. Really nice. I'll have another one.

500ml bottle from Rhythm and Booze - A good looking beer, deep russet with a pillowy white head. Nose is a little metallic, lots of caramel. Taste is equally metallic, a big malty kick. Nothing to write home about.
