Pale amber color. Small white head. biscuity caramel nose. Light berry fruits. The taste is shortbread, sweet spun sugar. Malty, bruised apples and some sweet cherry. Light/medium body. Soft carbonation. Pretty simple but well done. DruncanVeasey (8260) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - APR 6, 2012
Cask handpull, The Freemason’s Arms, Covent Garden, 04/04/12. Ornately laced copper. Muted, just-rubbed jellied orange hop nose. Watery but with clean sherbety hop; digestives, aniseed. Light green hop, floweriness on the burp. Dab of minerals, vomit. Thin and bland as the bottle really. TheCametron (2480) - CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 21, 2012
Cask at The Guildford arms. Amber with white head. A funky hop borne unpleasantness. Thin. Very poor. Leighton (21880) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2012
Cask at The Jamaica Inn, thanks to Alastair. Pours clear, golden-brown with a fine, white foam head. Lightly toasted malts in the nose with subtle fruits. Light sweet flavor, some toasty malts, faint leafy bitters, faint ripe fruits. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Light sweet finish, bread, mild fruit, light earthy bitterness. A very basic bitter. wheresthepath (2352) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2011
[Cask at Neptune’s Hall, Broadstairs] Pale amber, slight white head. Unpleasant vegetable & green leaf smell. Better on tasting - it’s smooth and quite resinous with a slight sparkle. There’s some caramel and grass to offset the smell, but it’s still really not very pleasant.

Cask conditioned handpump Dover Castle Brighton. An amber coloured beer with an off-white puddle of head and some lacing. A leafy hoppy nose but predominantly malty in the mouth. Easy going fruity berry notes. Perfectly drinkable. sm89walt (2073) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 13, 2010
Cask - The Monument, Canterbury. Poured a clear, coppery amber colour with a frothing soapy white head. Tangy, biscuity malts, some caramel and earthy hops on the nose. A light acidity with the Sheps’ yeast character and a leafy dry bitterness. Medium in body, has soft carbonation and a shortish finish. madmitch76 (25101) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 14, 2009

Pint from cask. Amber body, not much head. Lots of hops and malt. Very sugary, but the hops cut through. Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - JAN 2, 2009
Clear golden of color with a white head. An aroma of fruits, malt and sweet. A flavor of malt, fruits, weak hops and bisquit.
