UPDATED: MAR 18, 2006 Cask at Sun Inn Faversham, Kent. One of Sheps better seasonal beers. Good lemon citrus hop nose and a refreshing citric flavour with flowery hops. Still the usual Sheps slight yeast taste, but still pretty good MrWalker (926) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 22, 2004

Pleasant, slightly burtonised, aroma. Spicy, hoppy taste with a touch of freshly cut grass. Easy to down. I like. Had two pints.
They say "an early bird catches le worm" and this Neame Spring ale does thus. It’s a light brown/amber in colour and, for me, tastes like it looks - light, citrusy refreshing and slightly creamy. Very refreshing - bring on the Spring says I! dnas2 (705) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - MAY 12, 2008
Copper with a good head and a sweet caramel scent. Bitter with some sweetness at the end. Malty with some hops and dry finish. I rather liked this one. gnoff (10226) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - APR 25, 2007

Cask @Tree Folk’s (Rome). Pours golden with a medium creamy foam. Aroma is fresh fruits, apple, peach, lemon zest, chamomile, some malt, biscuits. Flavour is light sweet at first with a light bitter end, fresh and clean, good. Light body, flat. Nice! TedE (1299) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 30, 2015
Pint at Westminster Arms, London. Floral hop nose. Copper clear beer. Thin but frothy head. Mouthfeel is thin with clean hop bitterness. There’s a touch of malt then.........long floral hop finish. Insubstantial but refreshing. Joeh (2049) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2004

Århus2008. From cask. Pours clear and golden orange. Light hoppy aroma, nicely fruity/floral and inviting. Flavour is mild floral and bitter with a light acidic bitter touch. Subdued sweetness and mild spice note. Ends light fruity. Smooth and nice to keep sipping from.
