Wetherspoon’s Beer Festival. Wow! This is an awesome pint. Best Sheps I’ve ever had. Everything is damn wonderful. Great malt. Great hops. Great balance. very drinkable. An absolute joy. A ripper zipper!
Bottled. Amber color with a nice cream head that diminish quite quickly and keeps a good lacing. Hop spicy aroma, hint of floral hop. Flavor lightly bitter, mouth feel is short with a smooth bitterness. Dry end.. bgiamatei (317) - São Paulo, BRAZIL - JUN 18, 2011

cask Tudor Rose.Spent a few days in Kent. Sat out in their beer garden this hit the liver nice.Lots of caramel and spicy ,minty hops .Resembled a French biere de’ garde a bit in character ,but with less booze... A bit like drinking Jenlain Ambree.I found flaavours earthy ,with buttery matiness texture . Its sweet and rustic like your typical de ’gardes too. Enjoyable. fiulijn (21214) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 10, 2009

Hazy deep blond color; thin creamy head. The aroma is light, perfumy, flowery (very light elderflowers). Dry toffee flavor, quite strong bitterness, but nothing special.
Cask at The Grid Inn, Southfields during "Spoons Fest in a Day" crawl, 2nd Nov 08. Light amber with lots of citrus hops on the nose and the tongue. Light palate. cgarvieuk (25984) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 1, 2009

Cask, Four Candles, Oxford. Pale gold, white head. Fresh spring day aroma; new alfalfa breaking through rich earth, that warming sensation of being hit with sunshine after many months of being indoors. Light clean malt with subtle, earthy hop bitterness. Soft and balanced, rewarding by the sip but very quaffable. A very pretty beer, and a terrific surprise from Shep. The best use of Fuggles I’ve ever had, a hop I usually consider kind of an ugly step-sister to Goldings. leaparsons (10764) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 23, 2008
Cask, The Highcross, Leicester. Golden with a small head. Aromas are grapefruit with peppery, earthy hops. Some woody pine with low malts. Flavours are grapefruit, apricot and melon with a dry, bitter finish. Takes a while to get going. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 16, 2008
Cask in the cross keys and the new crown. Alround rating: Soapy floral leafy hop, some lemon, some cheese and onion crisps, but not in the new crown, fresh and tasty stuff.
