Deep copper colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is hoppy, malty and quite caramelly. Flavour is malty, hoppy and slightly dry wooden. Slightly watery.
Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan. Stockholm. (as Bishop’s Arms House Ale) Clear pale brownish amber, minimal head. Vague caramel aroma. Sweetish and light bodied with some light papery malt, clean hard mouthfeel and low hop rate. Quite thin undeveloped malt character. Light mangoish hops gives a brief resiny bitterness. Amber color, small creamy off-white head. Nutty hoppy aroma. Nutty hoppy flavor, a bit buttery. Boring ale, but you can drink this, if you don’t have anything else. Not as good as eg. Bishops Finger.
Bottled, 500ml from Asda, Brighton Marina. Amber with white head. Largely a toffee, pasteurised beer, some maltiness, wet cardboard, touch of sweetness. Fairly bland. Meilby (11639) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 22, 2014

Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and citrus. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
Clear golden ale with diminishing head. High bitter aroma, sweet bitter flavour. gnoff (10793) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 26, 2007
UPDATED: JUN 8, 2007 (Draught at Bishops Arms, Västra Hamngatan, Göteborg) Had as "Bishops Arms Premium House Ale". Clear copper color, small but lasting tan head. Rather lightbodied. Good balance between malt and hops in both taste and scent. Though it’s a bit plain and almost bordering into boring. Low bitterness. Still it’s refreshing and probably a great ale to have if you want a neutral "food beer". Apparently brewed to win over some lager drinkers to the ale side of the beer world. (Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm, 6 Feb 2008. Labeled as Bishop’s Arms House Ale) Amber colour with frothy off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with nuts and dark fruit. Malty taste with dark fruit and decent amounts of earthy hops in the finish. Light body, mainly dry. Nothing exceptional, but a decent, easy drinking bitter with a balanced hop character.
