Half litre poured into standard pint glass. Auburn colour, clear, 1 finger tanned head, decent retention. Initally aroma was weak but some citrus fruits and notes of Cascade hop came through. Had a bit of farmyard to it, but in a pleasant way. Tasted fruity, had notes of grapefruit, balanced bitterness, finish was long, bitter and wheaty. Medium body, well carbonated, slightly coarse. Pleasant ESB, refreshing decent amount of character.

Tasted on 10.08.15. Quite pleasant bisquit malty aroma. Medium head, disappearing to thin but durable layer. Clear copper colour. Pleasant bisquit sweetness in taste with delicate hoppy bitterness.

Served in a tulip from a 500ml bottle. Pours clear brown-red amber colour with a medium light beige head, nice lacing in the glass. Aroma is grass, toffee, herbs and a hint of honey. Taste is caramel, toffee, herbal notes, medium herbal bitterness throughout and in the finish. Medium body with medium carbonation. Very easy to drink and enjoyable. Nice session ale!

Bottles from Sainsburys and B&M’s, Gateshead. Amber coloured with a sweet red fruity and slight burnt toffee flavour with biscuit, sherbet, almond and dried fruit on the finish. Nice.

Poured from a bottle in a long flute glass. Unenticing aroma but perfectly drinkable if bland red ale.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2017 Karmelki, przyjemne nuty owocowe i opiekane, średnia, krótka goryczka. Dobry balans. Moim zdaniem prawie najlepsze z piw, które przewinęły się przez lidlowe promocje.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury’s. Pours coppery red with dirty grey head. Aroma sightly metallic with walnut, wood shavings and hay. Good bitterness with some gingerbread aftertaste. Can see how this fits with an autumnal feel (clearly sampled this at the wrong time of year!).

Barwa ciemnej miedzi, klarowne. Piana drobna, ciemnokremowa, obfita. Dziurawi się. W aromacie chmiel i czerwone owoce. Przyjemnie , świeżo pachnie. W smaku kwaskowate, goryczkowe. Trochę palonego karmelu i kwaskowatość owoców. Pozostawia przyjemny cierpki, owocowy posmak. Udane piwo.

Bottle. Reddish brown with medium head. Some grassy and some fruity. crispy bitterness. Nothing special.
