"A distinctive, mid-brown bitter ale, with all the hoppy aroma youd expect of a beer brewed in the heart of the hop country. Well balanced, with a taste thats been described as "wonderfully aggressive, tinged with sweetness". "

Pale amber pour with a creamy white head. The aroma is softly sweet and a little bit herbal. Really quite light tasting with a nice soft hop bitterness. Its pretty light tasting. Quaffable but could have more flavour.

(Cask, GBBF 2013): Clear copper in colour, medium head. Weak aroma of fruit, caramel, malt. However, taste is really well balanced. Malt, fruit, caramel, grass and slight hop notes come through. Not bad, a little on the flat side though.
