imdownthepub (14751) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2010
Bottled, 500ml from Sainsburys, Banbury. Dark brown, ruby with off white head. Quite sugary sweet for a porter, yes there is a liquorice, roasty malt background but there is the overpowering sweetness. Some hop in the close. Pretty average.
