Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Pours clear fold with a fine, white cream head. Nuts, toasty grain and straw on the nose. Light sweet flavour with more nuts, grainy malts, bit of toasty pale malts, hay. Light bodies with fine carbonation. Light sweet finish, a bit grainy and nutty, some more toasty hay. Nothing too wrong here. leaparsons (10755) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2012
Cask, Highcross, Leicester. Light gold with a white foam. Aromas are lemon and grain with some mineral notes. Some caramel with zesty yeast. Flavours are crisp and grassy with yeast and bitter lemon. Quite floral with some peanuts and a dry, lightly hopped peppery finish. Quite good. berkshirejohn (6650) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 26, 2012
Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Straw with a loose white head; fruity in the mouth, crisp and fresh, and lightly bitter; quite full bodied and satisfying, despite the lack of any outstanding or redeeming features.

Cask conditioned handpump Cordwainer Northampton 01/11/ A golden to copper coloured beer with a white head and lace. Very light berry fruits throughout. Seems English hopping rather than the selection quoted. Seems dull at first but a pleasant subtlety of flavour comes through and it’s pretty palateable. downender (8882) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2013
Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol, November 2012. Deep gold with a lacy white head. Sweet, hedgerow fruits with some chocolate in the background and clean, bitter finish. Ok. tombyars (1766) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - OCT 28, 2012
Tasted this in the Salt Cot, Saltcoats (JDW) in October 2012. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear pale copper in colour with a thin off white head. Thin weak mouthfeel with a sparkling mineral quality to it and good lacing. Pale malts give a digestive malt base with sweet tangerine fruit present. Slight bitter edge in the short aftertaste with hop resins present but not overpowering the malt. Sweet fruity malty finish with sweet orange citrus still evident. A decent well balanced session bitter. Not as bitter as I was expecting from this vanguard brewhouse of hop resin?

Deep golden ale with the thinnest of heads. Has a rich fruity bitterness and a small roastedness in flavour.
