oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - NOV 18, 2010
Bottled (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Amber colour, mediumsized beige creamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is bready malts, some crystal malty notes as well as mild caramel. Also some slight grassy and floral hoppyness. Flavour is wooden, a bit grassy, quite sweet malty along with some slight herbal notes. Mild toffee in underneath. Biting carbonation. Pleasant bitter!

TBone (18558) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 11, 2010
Bottled (Pori, BB 10/2011)
Clear deep copper color, small steady white head. Typical Shep Neame nose: nutty hoppyness with hints of metal. Light to medium bodied. Crisp hoppyness, grassy, woody and nutty. Dryish and a bit too watery. A Light version of MasterBrew or Spitfire. No Christmas found.

FatPhil (17334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 21, 2010
500ml bottle (Hilpea Haukki, Helsinki)
6 Shepherd Neame standard fingerprint - Sweetish, muted hops, a little dusty and earthy.
4 Reddy orange, small persistent head, settles to a ring.
6 Text book shep again. Tons of floral honey whic is a little detached from the other tastes, namely the almost-pungent aromatic hops which make this just a little nutty.
3 Simple palate, crisp carbonation. Finish saves it - plenty of honey and caramelly malt, and loads of bitter hops. Those hops are again somewhat muted, and don’t taste fresh.
12 A straight down-the-middle bitter which didn’t survive pasteurisation so well. Like many other SN beers.

ManVsBeer (11168) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 12, 2016

50 cl bottle.
Originally rated on 20101127.
Pours clear amber color with a small head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, some mild hops and fruits. Flavor of sweet fruits and malts, caramel, toffee and hay. Not very pleasant.

The_Osprey (9690) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 24, 2014
500ml bottle as a gift, 3.8%. Clear dark amber, sparkling, decent foamy off-white head. Aroma is honey-ish syrupy malt, musty, lightly metallic. Body is medium, pretty high carbonation, spritzy and quite foamy. Taste is tangy, metallic malts, thin and watery, soft bitterness. A slow drinking bitter due to metallics and over-carb. Really not that drinkable, gassy. Not for me.

Quack-Duck (9540) - Down South, GERMANY - JUL 26, 2015
bottle from pivnizub. Clear chestnut-brown colour, small white head. Malty, pleasant sweetness plus some caramel and roasetd malts, dried figs and dates. Nice.
