Clear 500ml bottle from a local Lidl: last one on the shelf, should have left it there! Shared with my son on Christmas Day 2016 during a mini tasting session. Red hue to the amber body, thin white head. Slight malty aroma, mild hop bitterness in the taste: no Christmas spices or flavours. Waste of money, even if it was cheap. ralphdot (1095) - Billingham, Durham, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2016
5.5% amber in colour with a thin head, it had a bitter aroma and a slight Christmas taste. AleTamer12 (22) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 25, 2016
It’s Christmas Day and what better way to reward Rudolph for all his hard work than a drop of ale. Enjoy! SilkTork (5926) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - DEC 5, 2016
500ml clear glass bottle, filtered, from Lidl. 3.8% abv. Cheap as chips and quite drinkable. Not really a Christmas beer though, just a fairly average Sheps beer. It’s soft, a bit dry though with some pleasant bready malt character, and there’s a dusty hop powder in the finish. It’s not great, but it’s OK. Almost like a kvass. redders1974 (1702) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - DEC 1, 2016
Amber with small head scant aroma. Malts with a small fruit bitterness dry finish.

Bottle from Lidl, Sowerby Bridge. Copper coloured with a thin head. A bitter in character with a very light chocolatey sweetness in its background.
