Spoons. Clear amber beer, ghost of a white head. Light palate. Zero carbonation. Dry malt. Thin hops. A little dust. Neutral finish. Dull bordering on offensive. Sheps can make good beer but beers like this just torpedo any attempt to take them seriously!

jolly farmers, SE London) Dark amber/brown pour with medium off white head, and body is rather thin. Aroma/taste is very malty. caramel, biscuit, nutty dark fruits with a bitter finish. Not bad, kind of average overall.
Golden ale with a mild fruit spiced aroma, but apt for a seasonal winter beer. It has a spicy undercurrent for its flavour and can be classed as a winter warmer.
