Lovely malt, bisquity, as the labesl says. I thought this was filled with fruit and spices, but it is an old fashioned beer crafted with hops and malt. Clear amber color. Bittersweet, full of flavour. Englighs hops, English malt. I’d try this with a curry. A pleasant surprise. Bottle from Systembolaget. Nordcore (1607) - Lyngen alps, NORWAY - OCT 8, 2012

Bränd, nästan fadd smak först, smakar inte som en english ale brukar. Påminner mer om fruktig IPA. Eftersmaken bättre, men alltför besk.

Smell of rich malt and yeast, marmite. Pouts a medium creamy off white head. Copper colour. Light carbonation. Taste is very malty, spicy hop with some toast. Short bitter finish. Wow, great beer with tonnes of character.

Bottle, from Morrisons Scunthorpe. Chestnut brown, fluffy lasting white head and moderate condition. Big bready nose with hints of wood smoke and peppery spices, pleasant roasted bitterness apparent in the mouth with a suggestion of chocolate, some muted berry fruitiness. Finish is initially dry with a lasting chocolate bitterness and some malt. MalcolmTucker (924) - SCOTLAND - OCT 2, 2012
Bottle. A standard ESB - very malty with a citrus hop finish. I’m quite partial to an ESB on a cold night but I won’t but this again in the future. nazzty (1378) - Ödåkra - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - SEP 30, 2012
They have had more fun writing the label on the bottle than to brew the beer, as the description on the label was full of fantasy and mystery. The brew was rather bland with a burnt bitterness that does not let up any malt flavor.

Smakrik och fadd i samma mun. Levande och kvävd i samma andetag. Fantastisk god med tilltugg men i stort sett värdelös med sig själv som sällskap. Den här kommer nog få minst en eller två chanser till.
